The British Blacklist - Media Project
The British Blacklist is a media & information platform dedicated to the work of UK-based black storytellers and creatives.
The British Blacklist team created a successful editorial platform that features News, Reviews, and Interviews with creative artists working for the screen, stage, literature and sound.
With such a talented audience, the website owner, our friend Akua, reached out to rethink the website design and create a smoother experience for visitors.
Project Goals:
The digital solution we proposed to the client is a visitor-focused website. We’ve started this web design and web development project around the idea that such an awesome community deserves a comfortable, warm experience on a fast-loading website.
We've improved visual appearance and navigation by combining a daring black background with highly contrasting white titles and warm yellow accents. In addition, the tagDiv web designers created customized elements with HTML and Javascript to support the website owner's vision for a dynamic & engaging experience.
Understanding the project's goals, we've built The British Blacklist website project to be easy to use for quick content creation. We are delighted to be part of this redesign process and look forward to collaborating with website owners who love their audience as Akua does.
