  9. after updating to 9.8 tagdiv composer is not providing “column text ” element which i was using earlier… and i was also using td_top_bar_api to add custom topbar which is also vanished now

      Please note that the element will disappear if you have already installed the WP Bakery to avoid the conflicts between these page builders. If you will disable the WP BAckery, that element will be ready to be used from TD Composer.       Unfortunately, that plugin has not tested with our theme and also, we do not have any guide of using it with our theme! Feel free to try using this plugin in our theme according to the plugin’s documentation from here -> https://www.advancedcustomfields.com/ but please note that we cannot say for sure if the plugin works as expected with the theme, sorry!

What we can say for sure is that the SEO Yoast plugin works as expected with our theme and this is part of our tested plugins. You can try this on and check how it works.

  13. So I have Newspaper 9 on my site and want to make my website like the Tech News Pro demo in this blogpost. However, when I go to ‘install demo’ on my wordpress platform, selecting ‘tech news’ gives me a different demo altogether.

    Any thoughts on how to get the one listed in this blogpost? I don’t see it. Thanks.

      Unfortunately, we do not have any such a huge video tutorial which displays you all of the functionalities, sorry! Please note that our theme is powerful and have a lot of beautiful functionalities. I strongly recommend you to take the entire Newspaper documentation and start to read it from the beginning and try to understand each feature.   15. hi I am very happy to use this theme, but did not occur to developers to provide major changes other than flex block or header costumize, for example, such as post carousell, or swip bassed block for future mobile web … cheerrs !!

Besides the slide and big grid slide from the composer, the theme package also contains the revolution slider plugin.     I means, I try to load demo A but later I want to try demo B. Is it possible to reset website before load another demo ?

  18. Dear Alina,

    it’s of course very good to add new interesting features to Newspaper theme, and given Newspaper theme is the paid leading theme of his type and the bestselling of his time, I think it could provide additional functions that I wish it will have in the short term:

    1) compatibility with PHP 7.3
    2) increasing the number of compatibile plugins from the current 11 (too few for me) to at least 25 including the most used related also to security, membership areas, wordpress optimization etc.
    3) increasing SEO quality (the theme creates lots of links through category filter: ordering the posts by date, random, popular ecc creates duplicate URLs and can cause ranking penalization to the websites if duplication is not managed).
    4) a better speed of the mobile theme (NOT AMP). I found it still slower in my opinion compared to the desktop version: on our website, we get around usually 20 points less in mobile speed compared to desktop speed (evaluated from Google Page Speed Insights):

    5) a better update process: since May, I tried to update more than once to the new theme without success, by following your main recommendations:

    The website change completely the graphics and I restore the backup. We didn’t go beyond 9.6.1 version.

    I feel disappointed in having the theme from January and in not being able to a basic thing: the update process, which I found to be such a basic thing that I do not like to pay for the support (installation and update are basic thing and should be included in the price from my point of view). If users cannot install/update the theme, they cannot use its last functions.

    Hope the theme goes better for us with the next released versions.

      Thank you for your suggestions! Regarding the theme updates please make sure that you have correctly updated your theme in order to achieve better theme results. It is mandatory to delete all that was left from the older version before installing this update. Overwriting the files would cause a lot of problems and maybe you’ve missed something while deleting the old files. Have you checked the plugins to be deleted too? Please make sure that you have installed the updates correctly by deleting all of the older version and made a clean install from scratch in order to achieve the best functionality with our theme.       Depends on which demo you are referring to. You could simply import the demo homepage or template you want, edit them with the composer, click on the elements you want and check what fonts are used.   20. I was really happy to see Podcast demo for my favorite theme (I use “Newspaper” in various projects), but unfortunately it lacks one very important feature. It’s seamless continuous player. Imagine a listener clicked “play” on homepage, then decided to go in and leave a comment – the episode will be disturbed. Then he click play again on the episode page, submitting a comment – shazam! again, disturbed.
    I know, it’s not really theme’s problem, but would be really great if Tagdiv team can include or at least recommend this kind of plugin with this functionality (music player plugin that keep music playing seamless while you navigate WP site)

      That would be correct, the players are in the page content. Navigating away from the respective page where it is being played or refreshing the page, will stop the player. Maybe there are music player plugins out there that are capable of something like you mention, I can’t make any recommendations unfortunately.

But could you explain, what I have to do, to put an already existing site like mine in a new optics with the css like you provide with lifenews pro template? let me explain: I want to keep all blocks the same and in same place, but I like the optics, fonts and css that is used with the pro lifenews theme. is there a way to change the complete site to the new view? frank

      Thank you very much for the kind words. These new demos make use of the great amount of customization options that flex blocks and grids have. They don’t use a separate demo stylesheet. Everything is done in the page or cloud template used (design, fonts, colors, etc.). With the default blocks and grids it wouldn’t be possible easily. If you would like to see how the Life news demo homepage is made, you can import it with the cloud library plugin and edit it with the composer https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/single/page/Homepages/899 The same for the cloud templates used, header, post, author etc.

          All the templates the Life news pro demo uses can be imported from the cloud library,also the homepage. They are ready made, simply import and use them. If you would like to use the demo homepage as well, just import it, configure it to display the content you want and then set it. No need to copy/paste any CSS.       The demo uses a footer page, it is available for import from the cloud library https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/single/page/Footers/957 So if you just want that page, you can import it through the cloud library, then set it as footer page in the theme panel.     i am a huge big fan of Newspaper theme always checking one on one new themes & i really like those themes, sometimes thinking i should have to use all themes ones. recently i am using dumb theme but it have cleared my all coverage issues in google search console but now i have to change & planning to install Fast News in newspaper theme, But i have a request pls if you can fulfill i want you to create a full screen theme as like as Zox News Theme. Reason Behind not using that theme is not comfortable with Wp-Rocket plugin. i like that theme but unable to use that’s why pls can you able to make that kind of theme.. . Thank You.

The rows containing the page elements can be stretched to predefined widths or full width – https://prnt.sc/ongoo3 There are some demos that are designed to be full width, please check the demo list.   28. It’s nice to see more demos with thumbnails in portrait orientation. I’ve often wondered why we don’t get thumbnail styles compatible with book covers, magazine covers, DVD covers, movie posters, etc.

    As for my favorite, I like Art Magazine because it takes the newspaper out of Newspaper, if you know what I mean.

  31. i don’t know with this, but after update, website sometime is down, notif down about web server, but i’m check nothing wrong with my webserver, because im using several blog in hosting but not down, only this web use this theme update sometime down

    please check scripts may be any something wrong,
