Stevivor
Stevivor is the most-read independent video games website in Australia. This awarded site improved the UX and SEO results. The project turned into a vivid experience of a passionate audience.
Supporting the video games community with fresh content by more than 11 years, the Stevivor website won recognition from Australian IT Journalism Awards and Esports Pro Oceania Awards. It made it into the Game Critics Awards E3 panel.
This passionate team knows what the effervescent community of the video game players is expecting from them and their website.
Project Goals:
The Stevivor project started with the idea that their specific audience needed to have all the modern features blended with the dynamic pulse of the magazine industry. We’ve updated the Newspaper Theme used on the WordPress website to make it easier for the writers to create and publish the content.
We’ve shaped the user experience and SEO by restructuring the content using headings, changing positions for the multiple elements like breadcrumbs, authors name and date, featured image. At the same time, we’ve made alterations to the social sharing options and comments to allow the community to interact and distribute the content easily.
The results speak for themeselfs: the Stevivor website project is higly appreciated by the audience.
