The Coronado Times

The Coronado Times website project is an online independent news publication that aims to find the perfect balance between excellent content, monetizing with advertisements, and great performance.

The Challenges

A local newspaper in a small city is the vibrant, beating heart of the community. Every important news for people must find its right place in the page and load in a blink of an eye on any device.

Finding the right balance between dynamic news, monetizing with ads, and performance on a website loaded with content was the main challenge The Coronado Times faced.

Project Goals:

  • Make a seamless transition from the old theme to give the journalists more tools for publishing content
  • Increase the website's performance to improve the user experience
  • Create new monetization capabilities on the website
  • Support the team through the learning process of making future changes

As vibrant as the community it serves

Our digital solution involves increased website performance and the creation of additional monetization capabilities. We've started by updating the WordPress website and making it reliable by including the customizations from an old child theme into the new theme.

The journalists gained access to new tools and skills to publish content easily and automatically. As a result, the flexibility and performance of the website improved significantly.

The new developed advertisement locations help the audience to easily find the useful and relevant information, while the website increases its revenue.

Professional work and quality communication. Working with tagDiv has been a huge boost to my business in order to keep our site updated and working well for our readers. We plan on using them for future projects and highly recommend their services.
