Getting Started

To get the best results with your Newspaper Theme, should consider activating your license. Typically after three days from the installation, you’ll see a red warning asking you to activate the theme. Don’t worry! It’s a simple and straight forward process.

Access your Envato account to retrieve your Envato purchase code, and open the license file.

How to Activate the Newspaper theme: Finding Your Envato Licence Key

When you activate the Newspaper theme, you should know that:

  • The theme does not overwrite any settings;
  • Moreover, the theme doesn’t record any of your personal information;
  • All warnings go away, and you’ll have all the power of the Newspaper Theme ready to help you succeed with your project.

Moreover, you can activate the theme in multiple locations. The same purchase key can be used to activate your development copies and also the live version of your theme. For more information regarding the theme installation, go here.

To activate the Newspaper theme:

  • 1 – Go to the Dashboard area> Newspaper> ‘Activate Theme’ section.
  • 2 – Enter your Envato Purchase Code in the required area.
  • 3 –  Press the ‘Activate Theme’ button.

  • 4: Create a Customer Support Center (forum) account by adding a username, email, password and confirmation details.

Note: If you already have a forum user created, the last prompt is not available.

If you own multiple licenses of the theme, you do not need to create multiple forum accounts, as you can add your extra Envato keys to the existing account and the theme activation skips the forum registration requirement.

  3. Jaol, I am testing the theme and I love it in its desktop version but when I want to show the mobile version it is as if the theme is lost. Thanking you in advance for your support.

      Please make sure that you are using the latest version of the theme. I have checked your website and it seems working fine on mobile.   4. I want to move activation code from one site to another. Can i deactivate from current site and use it on new site?

    • Hi,

      Yes, you can do that. Normally, the Envato policy allows using a theme only on one install. You can, however, use the theme on a sub-domain if you plan on creating a testing site, but if we are talking about totally different sites with different content, then only one theme per install is legally allowed.

    when i wanna activated these theme, it required ENVATO PURCHASE CODE
    where i can get this code, i look to every file inside downloaded theme cannot find any

If you have once bought a Newspaper Theme license, your product should be in your Envato account, so that you can download it anytime you need it. Also, the theme’s updates are free for a lifetime. Please note that one license can be used on a single website. If you cannot find your license into your Envato account, please address their support service – https://help.market.envato.com/hc/en-us.   19. Hello, I bought the theme from another website and I notice the version I have is not the latest. Is it a big problem if I wait 2 or 3 weeks before updating?
    On this subject, is it risky to modify the theme by myself and therefore not to update it at all?

  29. When ever i click on the activate button it was showing nothing. I think the Active button was not working well, please check it once and kindly resovle the issue as soon as possible.

      After you have purchased the theme from Envato Market, please note you will automatically receive a unique item purchase code which is your license of the theme. This is the code that has to be added in order to activate your theme. That code can be found to your Envato Market account and also, through the email that you have received from Envato MArket after buying the theme.

    When i try to activate theme i saw this error message ” You have reached the maximum activation count. Please contact us via contact@tagdiv.com and we will solve this ASAP. Sorry about this. ” What can i do ?

      Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com with your log-in information (wp-admin) and your Envato Purchase Code so we can check it and also, so we try to activate your theme if the key is valid.

      Unfortunately, the theme does not support RTL. Sorry for the inconvenience, this would be the better solution, to request a refund and pick a theme with RTL support out of the box. It would be quite difficult to modify this theme for RTL.

            Thank you for your interest in our theme. Unfortunately, our Newspaper theme has not been developed to support the RTL version. Also, please note that it is not an easy task to rewrite all the theme’s functionality including the core page builder and required plugins to make it RTL; this means that the theme might be affected and we cannot provide support for this.
